“Do it Yourself?!” I believe these were my words as my husband, Dave explained his idea of how we were going to pour our own concrete countertops in place right on top of my new kitchen cabinets at our new house.

Not more than a week later he had me convinced it was not only possible but REALLY cool! And this began our DIY adventures. I figure if we can pour our own concrete countertops with NO prior experience we can conquer the world (or at least a few other house projects and furniture building).

We just purchased this house (a foreclosure) with TONS of potential, beautiful front yard, great neighborhood, and partially renovated…Well, only the lighting and ceilings were complete (but they looked great!). It had no flooring and most of the walls needed to come down. We hired a contractor to get us started but now we are on our own! Follow along 🙂
